Why lie? I'm a narcissist.

Hi. I'm Michael. Yes, like the guys name. No my parents weren't expecting a boy. Yes, I've heard that one before, and actually, it's too tired to be worthy of a witty comeback.

This is going to be my space to write whatever I want. Lately I've been wanting to start blogging again, but I felt like I needed some sort of theme, something to tie things together and make it interesting. If not a topic, then at least a gimmick. For instance, a friend of mine titles all of here blogs with a notable quote. It lends a nice cohesion to her blog without limiting her subject matter.

So I mulled over it for a while. When I failed to think of anything appropriately clever I realized I should stop thinking and just do. Part of the reason I wanted to start a blog was to motivate me to write more. Waiting to start until I have a good idea is just procrastination; it's what keeps me from writing in general.

So here's the theme: ME. My thoughts. My feelings. My life. Whatever verbal vomit I feel like spewing, I'll do it here. Welcome.
